# Balance Maternity Leaves - Employee Joining Early (Before Completing 180 Days)?

Maternity leave is given as a rest period after pregnancy for women and it is not a leave which can be utilised any time. First of all employer is not supposed to allow any women to rejoin after maternity period before completion of maternity leave. Also, employee is not allowed to take it later on.
