Hi Gowri, The definition of wages has been modified under the 4 labour codes uniformly. When the Codes becomes effective (specially the Code on Wages), the employer has to ensure that the wages components are aligned with the definition of wages. Accordingly, there is a likelihood of change in PF contributions, Gratuity, other allowances, etc. We have a lot of discussion threads in this community under the tags of Codes, and labour Codes.
