# Is deducting TDS on salary on monthly basis mandatory?

Yes, it is a good practice to deduct TDS on a monthly basis.

- You will be following the IT rules.
- You will not have a burden if employees leave the organization in between. In that case, it will be difficult to recover from the employee.
