# Is the variable pay to be calculated along with CTC or is it separate from CTC?

Hi All,

Is the variable pay to be calculated along with CTC or is it separate from CTC? since it’s on a yearly basis. How will we calculate the basic and HRA if we include CTC? Kindly advise.
