Musk takes over Twitter!

The chief executive officer (CEO) of Twitter Parag Agrawal and chief financial officer (CFO) Ned Segal are among the top executives departing the social media giant as Elon Musk completes his USD 44 billion deal to take over Twitter, according to the report. As per CNBC, Segal and Parag left the San Francisco headquarters of Twitter and will not be returning.

While quoting people familiar with the matter, Bloomberg reported that others who are leaving the company are Vijaya Gadde, the head of legal, policy, and trust, and Sean Edgett, who has been general counsel at Twitter since 2012.

Musk has said that he acquired Twitter to have a healthy debate platform in the future without resorting to violence. In a social media post by his conservative supporter Dinesh D’Souza stated that a new day is dawning on Twitter and he is in the building. What to be done with two notorious Indians, Parag Agrawal, and Vijaya Gadde, he questioned.

Earlier, Musk on Thursday reached out to Twitter advertisers through a note and opened up on his decision to acquire it.

Musk told them that it is important for the future civilization to have one common digital platform where a wide range of beliefs can be discussed in a healthy manner. “I didn’t do it (acquisition) because it would be easy. I didn’t do it to make more money. I did it to try to help humanity, whom I love,” he said in a note.

I am sorry but twitter did not become twitter as it is now if it was not because of its early workers - and because of his love to humanity reason for him buying it is a debatable argument for me

Nonetheless, let us wait and see how will his plans will go…
