Hi, What are the details of opening NPS account? Can private company employee open NPS account if current employer is not registered for NPS? ---

yes…any one can open NPS…it is routed to NSDL & a/c also maintained there. it is advisable only for people paying more than 20% tax ( i feel) there are some catches in the NPS… like you cannot withdraw till 60 year only part amount can be withdrawn after 60 no idea how they will calculate the monthly pension etc ---

Hi, Yes, private company employee can open NPS account. Below is link for registration: [https://enps.nsdl.com/eNPS/OnlineSubscriberRegistration.html?appType=main](https://enps.nsdl.com/eNPS/OnlineSubscriberRegistration.html?appType=main) Please select Tier I because Tier II is for corporate. , employee need to register themselves online.
