# PF for absent employee

Hi,

1. If an employee is absent for the whole month, how should salary, PF, ESIC etc be managed?
2. What do the rules tell about this question?

Hi

You need not pay PF & ESI for that month if an employee is on leave and no Salary for the whole month.
