From what I’ve observed, it’s assuming AI is a replacement for HR instead of a tool to support HR professionals.
AI can help with resume screening, scheduling interviews, generating job descriptions, and answering employee queries. But hiring decisions, employee development, performance conversations, and workplace culture still require human judgment.
Organizations that treat AI as an assistant tend to see better outcomes than those trying to automate every decision.
What do you think is the biggest mistake companies make when adopting AI in HR?
- Over-automating hiring?
- Ignoring data privacy and governance?
- Not training employees to use AI effectively?
- Expecting AI to solve broken HR processes?
I’d love to hear your experiences and opinions.
