Automating Leave Management in greytHR

We recently onboarded greytHR to manage our HR needs, and it’s been a game-changer. But here’s the thing: leave management for our awesomely diverse team is getting a bit out of hand with all the different policies. Manually tracking everything is a nightmare!

So, my question to all you greytHR veterans is this: how do you automate leave management like a boss? Are there any best practices or hidden features I should be using to make this process smooth sailing?

Our team has a bunch of different leave policies, so any tips on setting those up for automation would be amazing too.

Create Leave Policy Groups for different employee types.
Set up auto accruals, carry-forward, and lapse rules.
Use custom workflows for approvals.
Assign holiday calendar by region.
Explore the Rule Engine for advanced logic (like tenure-based leave).
