It is the clear responsibility of the employer to pay and file the returns on time. If they don’t do it they will have to pay fines and interest.

As an employee, you will not have much control over this and it is ideal to follow up with the employer and ask them to pay and complete the IT returns on time.

If they still don’t do it you can always complain to the relevant assessing officer.
