Arbor Day is celebrated on March 21. It is not a national holiday but instead, schools nationwide celebrate this day with environment-related activities, namely tree planting. The Arbor Day Foundation has more than one million members and has planted more than 350 million trees in neighborhoods, communities, cities, and forests throughout the world.
