National Bao Day is annually observed on August 22 . It is a day to enjoy the famed dumpling’s delicacy. It is also a day dedicated to learning more about the bao, also known as ‘baozi’ or ‘heated Asian buns,’ and the culture surrounding them. Obviously, the most delicious and appropriate way to celebrate National Bao Day is to dig into one of these delicious dumplings. Whether it’s the first time a person is trying them, or they’ve been eating them their whole lives, this day is perfect for indulging!
