Accessing mailbox content becomes a real obstacle when trying to view OST file without Microsoft Outlook installed, particularly for IT staff handling employee offboarding or legal teams reviewing archived data on systems where installing the full Outlook application isn’t practical or licensed. Converting the OST to PST first through a separate tool just to view its contents adds an unnecessary step when the actual goal is simply reading emails, not migrating or restoring them anywhere. Setting up a temporary Exchange or IMAP profile to sync an orphaned OST is another workaround, but this fails entirely when the original mailbox account no longer exists on the server, leaving the OST permanently disconnected with no profile to attach it to. The SysInfo OST Viewer Tool opens OST files directly without requiring Outlook or an Exchange Server environment at any stage, displaying emails, calendars, contacts, and tasks in a readable interface immediately after loading the file. Auto-detection of file size and path happens automatically once the file is added, and attachments remain viewable alongside their parent emails. Compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux.
