Hi,

In case employee missed out on submitting claims for LTA-LTC earlier. Will they be able to claim it while filing ITR?

Hi @Anisha

As LTA is a non-taxable allowance given by the employer, it cannot be claimed directly in ITR.

However, there is a provision to claim LTA in the next year if they have not used it in the previous block years.
It has to be utilized within the first year of the new LTA block year.
