Yes, it is possible to convert IMAP emails to PDF in bulk, but the method you choose depends on the number of emails you need to export.
Manual Method (for a few emails):
If you have small files and some data in your file, then you can go for the manual way:
- Open the email in your IMAP email client.
- Click Print.
- Select “Microsoft Print to PDF”.
- Save the email as a PDF file.
- Repeat for each email.
I tried this method before, and it works for a small number of emails. The problem is that it becomes very time-consuming when dealing with hundreds or thousands of messages.
Easy Bulk Method (using an offline utility):
When you have a lot of large files with much data, then using this method can be more efficient and the best option for secure and fast IMAP Emails to PDF format.
For bulk email conversion, I used Softaken IMAP Mail Backup Tool. I had multiple IMAP folders containing important emails and needed to migrate them into PDF format, and manually saving each message was not practical. The tool helped me change IMAP Emails into a PDF file while managing large email collections more efficiently. The application supports the conversion of IMAP to a PDF file and it preserves all email properties including attachments, CC, BCC, To, From and other components
My Advice:
If you only need a few emails as PDF files, use the manual method. For bulk email migration, a secure and quick automated solution is much easier and helps avoid missing emails during the process.
