Hello everyone,
I would want to know if private entities in Karnataka are mandated to declare May 10 as holiday due to the elections. Or is this just for the government sectors and banks only.

As per my understanding, it must be a holiday for all not just for Government sectors and banks. It is applicable to all entities.

So event though our employees are not voters of Karnataka, we need to close the office on this day

For non-voters management can take a decision.
It is not compulsory to grant leave for non-Karnataka voters.
