Max Leave Encashment During the Pandemic

Hi,

What is the maximum leave encashment allowed for an employee?

No of leaves eligible.

It’s upon the policies set by every Org. But maximum cannot exceed a certain number.

But considering the pandemic companies are trying to have more encashment.

Beyond the minimum leaves given (example: 18 or 24 a year) any additional leaves given can be purely encashed.

I understood the calculation of 18 but how did you say 24? In which case, 24 leaves are accumulated a year?

It’s like 1.5 a month (i.e 1=20 days of working) + sick leaves of 6 a year (1.5 a quarter). So together 24. In most cases sick leaves are given apart from the general 18
