McDonald’s India- North & East Seeks NGO Partnerships For ‘McDonald’s For Youth’ Hiring Initiative

In a move that highlights its unwavering commitment to empower local communities and promote social change, McDonald’s India - North & East has taken a commendable step towards uplifting the less-privileged youth of Jaipur under its flagship community program “McDonald’s for Youth”. For this initiative, McDonald’s is inviting NGOs across Rajasthan to join forces in this endeavor and help reach out to potential beneficiaries from the local communities. This remarkable initiative serves as a powerful testament to the brand’s core values of inclusivity, compassion, and progress for the community.

Speaking on the initiative, Rajeev Ranjan, Managing Director, McDonald’s India – North and East, said, “Through our McDonald’s for Youth program, our aim is to create opportunities for youth of India’s local communities by dismantling the barriers to employment. We are on a mission to make an impact by opening doors to jobs and reducing barriers to employment by partnering with NGOs and skill development organizations, especially those who work with less-privileged communities at the grassroots level. Till now, we have hired more than 600 employees across our restaurants, and for Rajasthan, we are inviting local NGO partnerships across Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, and Ajmer, where we plan to fast-track the hiring under the McDonald’s For Youth Program. Our unwavering focus on North & East India serves as a testament to our commitment to presenting equal opportunities to less-privileged communities and providing them with a platform to harness their potential to the fullest.”

McDonald’s India – North and East has collaborated with NGOs such as Magic Bus Foundation, Quess Corp, etc. on a national level for the hiring process. In Rajasthan, McDonald’s India – North and East is currently working with Magic Bus Foundation, Quess Corp, and Skills Certified. The company currently has 11 restaurants in Rajasthan for which it is considering hiring employees through NGOs.
