We have a employee question on- senior citizens relief from filing income tax return. Is there a referable document we can have for reference?

Senior citizens above the age of 75 years, who only have pension and interest as a source of income will be exempted from filing the income tax returns.

If your question / employee matched this criteria, then it’s not required.
