Unauthorised leaves/absence by employees for various reasons during WFH


In these pandemic time when employees are completely WFH-

Are you also seeing a lot of unauthorised leaves by employees for various reasons? What are the steps you are taking to check this happening in big numbers?

I think streamlining processes help very much here. For example if employees use selfie attendance, organization insists to apply for leave using self service web or app, and also there are regular ways to engage employees, the interest level will stay. Then there is no scope for unauthorized absence, I guess. Apart from this establish employee connects via regular townhalls and BPHR - Employee/Managers (team wise[) online and understand the pulse.
