Are Freelancers and Self Employed individuals considered the same?

Need some clarity.

Hi @Prabha

Freelancers and self employed are almost similar, where a person offers a service.

There are lot of freelancer sites through which you can hire someone for your work. But there are lot of them even working on a contract for a period of time in an Org.

So similar profiled - TDS and TCS needs to be the same.
