So the thing is- I got x amount last month after all the deductions but this month I got a lesser one. The deuctions are right this time but wrong last time. Sould I go and ask ? Will the deduct the extra amount from the next salary?
Yes, absolutely. Just ask politely for a salary breakup or clarification. Sometimes the difference is due to tax deductions, leave adjustments, incentives, or other payroll changes. HR can explain the reason.
