GreytHR Community Guidelines

These guidelines apply to all users of the GreytHR Community.

Best practices in the community

Do’s

  • Be nice to each other! We are all here to learn and help each other out. Be polite and respectful in your posts, and in your replies to other people.

  • Search before you post! Search for your question in the GreytHR knowledgebase first. There is a chance that your question has already been answered. I

  • Be as detailed as possible with your question.

  • Use a good title.

  • Post to the right place! Is your question about XXXXX ? Post it to the XXXXX group. Using tags like #XXXXXX and #XXXXX help people understand what you are talking about.

  • Use simple language. Explain your problem so that all users can understand.

  • Keep conversation threads on track. It’s okay to disagree with another user’s post, but don’t take the thread off track to do so.

  • Always address your comments to the person who asked the initial question, not the other posters.

  • Cite the source of anything you post or upload, if it isn’t your own original content. Be honest about your sources.

Dont’s

  • Do not divert or change a thread for your own purposes; just start a new thread with the subject you want to discuss.

  • Be negative. Constructive feedback is good, but avoid personal remarks, sarcasm and blame.

  • Use crazy fonts, profanity or ALL CAPS. All caps and strange fonts are annoying. Not only does it look like shouting, it makes others want to use profanity.

  • Do not post anything that is objectionable (threatening, obscene, defamatory, discriminatory, insulting, intimidating anyone or any group of people for any reason).

  • Do not post any information that is confidential or proprietary information of Greytip or any other company or party. Confidential or personally identifiable information includes the name of a company (customer account), personal number and email.

  • Do not post any information that violates or infringes anyone’s intellectual property rights (including trademark, copyright, privacy, publicity, or other rights) or violates any local, state, national or international law.

  • Do not post any information that contains marketing materials, advertising, solicitations, software codes, software viruses, worms, malware or that constitutes spam and also links to websites that require payment to access information.

Posts may be deleted or closed if they break any of the following rules.

  • they contain offensive or harmful material
  • they contain personally identifiable information (PII) or sensitive information about users
  • they violate any copyrights or licenses.
  • Posting content or links to content that is illegal or violates any applicable local or national laws.
