Since @Ankit has shared the template, Iā€™m sharing the important points to keep in my while working on a increment letter.

The necessary points to be included in the salary recommendation letter is:

  • Name and Designation
  • Address
  • Date
  • Name and designation of the person to whom the letter is addressed
  • Company/organisation name
  • Salutation [Dear, Mr./Ms/Mrs.]
  • Mention the purpose of writing the letter
  • Your achievements or accomplishments
  • Percentage of increment you want
  • Justification for your increment
  • Close the letter with a humble note
  • At last mention your name and designation with Sincerely/Truly/Faithfully.
