Is leave encashment taxable as salary? How to calculate leave encashment?

Yes it is taxable if working with different companies in a year upto 3 lacs non taxable above that is taxable.

Leave encashment formula:-
Annual leave encashment = (no of leave x 12) x (gross monthly salary x 12 / 365)
