Good Evening Team,
We have an employee in our organization who has crossed 58 years of age. Could you please confirm whether we can continue the PF contribution if the employee continues their employment with our organization?

According to the Employees’ Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952, an employee can continue to contribute to the Provident Fund (PF) beyond the age of 58, but with some conditions:
If these conditions are met, you can continue PF contributions for the employee until they attain the age of 60 or leave the organization, whichever is earlier.
Yes, we have to pay PF till the time he is on the job may be upto 60 years
Oh Ok, that means it is legally mandatory to pay PF even after 58 years IF that person continues his employment with the company, right?. Do we have any PF rule/notification to substantiate this?
