Hi RashidaB,
For me, I usually ask the connection of the employee with the reference, if the reference would mention a certain project they worked together - I will explore their involvement, then would go to ask how does the reference see the employee as an employee, colleague and if I was able to establish that they have some personal connection - then I would ask how the reference see the employee as a person…
