In case relocation If employer is giving relocation cost to new joinee at the time of joining with his 1st Salary whether it is taxable in hands of employee ?

It will to be treated as Salary and will not be taxable as far as it is paid as Relocation Reimbursement and Not as Allowance.

Relocation allowance are exempt from tax to the extent of actual expenses incurred on employees transfer. In case of if amount paid by the employer is more than the actual expenses incurred the
difference shall be taxable as salary income in employees hands.
