Just wanted to know when Performance Linked Bonus is paid to employees do companies have a practice of keeping a clawback clause? Example - if an employees leaves within xyz months of paying the PLB he/she would have to return back that bonus to the company?
So far there are no such policies that have a clawback clause. A bonus is something that is paid on a monthly performance of an employee and cannot be taken back as its the month’s performance on which he/she received it.
