Setting up employee grievance committee

What are the points to be mandatorily considered to set up a grievance committee in any company? Also looking for a procedue chart on how it works.

Hi,

While forming the committee make sure it is a mix of male and female employees.

The Grievance Committee shall conduct an investigation and hearing within ten (10) working days from receipt of the grievance and shall provide decision within five (5) working days after the investigation.

The procedure the management applies to deal with the employees grievances can be stated as follows:

  1. Grievence should be in writing.
  2. Accepting the Grievance
  3. Timely Action
  4. Identifying the Problem
  5. Collecting the Facts
  6. Analysing the cause of the Grievance
  7. Taking Decision:
  8. Implementing the Decision
