Hi,

Looking as part of GST related course .

What is TDS in GST?
Whom it applies to? what is the rates?

Hi,
TDS on GST was introduced by the government in 2018. This applies mainly to Central/State Govt, Public sectors and Govt recognised sectors only. Any purchase of goods / service made by these sectors in excess of Rs 2.5L per instance is taxable @ 2% TDS. Trust this helps.
