Why is there option for Mutual Funds under 80C in POI?

Hey peeps,

I was filing my POI just the other day and I saw greytHR offering under 80C two separate components for Mutual Funds for deduction - ELSS and Mutual Funds. But on the web, I couldn’t find anywhere saying we can claim a deduction for any other mutual funds investment apart from ELSS under 80C. :thinking:

Yes, you are right only ELSS in mutual funds can be given for 80C. I will inform the team to look into it.

Why is this isn’t addressed yet? Mutual Funds are not eligible under 80C. Please remove that option.
