Visibility in the workplace is about – Presence, Content & Impact. Its about how do you get noticed and are a face in the crowd or you are part of the crowd. When you speak, do you speak content which people listen to or it’s just generic blabbering? And what impact your presence makes to the group – constructive or otherwise?

Why is employee visibility important?

Visibility is an important factor in the hyper competitive world.

If someone thinks that “if I shall do good work, it will automatically get noticed”, then in my view, the person is living in alternate world.

As much as it is critical accomplish your goals and excel in your job, it is equally important that the work gets highlighted. People who are visible shall get noticed first; they are more likely to be appreciated; opportunities first knock on their doors.

Visibility is icing on the cake. As much as cake is important, so is the icing
