It helps in understanding the role, expectation from the role, application part of the role, the narratives around the role, cross functional interlocks in doing the role, people to approach for specific need in performing the role, examples in the past to follow and experts to run up to in case of issues, problems and challenges.

Explained above Manasa. Please read. Orientation is about familiarity of an organization in terms of goals, history, way forward and the story. Training is about employee productivity and understanding of the goals and ways and means to make her/him achieve the goal.

I can help :smile: Well, to make a training schedule (regular one), compartmentalize in terms of generic and functional, this is step 1. General can be in terms of the discipline, permissible and non permissible aspects and ethics and policies, to ensure good knowledge transformation, we can have round of quiz too. function training should be in terms of role, KRA,s KPI’s KDI"S.

How to measure the success of employee training?

Post training assessment is good way to measure the effectiveness of training. Another way to do it is collect data of performance of the staff post 3 months of training and map their achievement against goal and see the improvement score card and chosen one can be put to re-train and others to secondary level of training.

Hi Anushree, good question. See with the inclusion of technology, digitization and digitalization, challenges are less, not zero yet. Hence, it depends on the type of organization and role for which you are making the training program, for example if it is a shop floor, it is challenge to train people on hybrid model, it has to be at work and at shop floor, even retail and FMCG sectors, in others, we can do a good program with in the hybrid model, designing is actually not a challenge, challenge is adoption by the staff and that needs innovative thinking, selling and also support from leaders.
