My question is if any employee work 25 days in any month, how many weekly off is entitled to him or her and avail only 1 CL. How do overall attendance of that month will be calculated?
As per Minimum Wages Act, 1948, employee is entitled for a day of rest in every period of 7 days with remuneration.
Employee is entitled for 1 day earned leave after working of 20 days, which will be 15 days EL. Apart of Earned Leave company should provide 12 days CL / SL.
so, if employee has worked for 25 days and took 1 CL (it is assumed that avail CL out of provided 12 CL), salary should pay for full month (25 working days + 4 week-off + 1 CL)
