ESIC enrollment

Hello wonderful minds,

I have a question on ESIC.

  1. If an employee has a salary of net take home RS 10,000 and he is provided by a comprehensive medical insurance together with a comprehensive accident and life insurance, does the employer need to register him to ESIC?
  2. If an employee is getting net take home of Rs 10,000 does the employer need to deduct PF? if not under what pension scheme shall the employer enroll the employee?

Thank you in advance to those who will reply.

He still has to register with the ESIC which is a statutory requirement.

We currently have 50 EES and yes we have PF and ESIC codes.

Just that this hiring of ees with Rs 10,000 salary is a plan, so we are checking on all statutory requirements we need to do if ever we will hire.

Hi Ludy

ESIC is mandatory for the employees unless you are hiring them as a consultant.
