The following persons are not to be covered

1. A proprietor or a partner whether drawing salary or not
2. A contractor lending the services of his employees
3. An apprentice engaged under the Apprentice Act, 1961
4. Persons employed on contract for service, e.g. legal, technical, tax consultants etc;
