We are in IT company based in Ahmedabad. We have opened work from home permanently for everyone. Good internet is lifeline for our work. We did extensive research nationwide what kind of internet plan are available, what is the average cost. Then we finalized to give INR 750 per month as internet reimbursement. Working on mobile internet is prohibited and everyone must opt for broadband connection, with minimum speed of 15 Mbps. We are installing a tool in everyone’s system which keep checking internet bandwidth, If in case of lesser then 15 Mbps average bandwidth, it triggers a report. If the speed is continuously less, the HR and IT team take the discussion further with the employee.
