We want to know is it mandatory to add sweeper as employee and deduct pf esi pt from salary of 5000/ month

please guide what the act says

Hi @Ashish

Any one if employed by you or by the contractor needs to be enrolled into PF subjected to applicability conditions.

In this case I assume your paying the sweeper a salary and your company is greater than 20 employees you need to enrol her into the PF, if a proper payslip is released.

There are some companies who pay it from petty cash from their pocket.
