Is it a good idea to invest in NPS if an employee is earning in the lowest tax bracket? who benefits the most

Hi,

Absolutely it is a good idea to invest in NPS. Higher paid salary employees can take the benefit of Rs 50,000/- in a year. Complete amount will be exempted.

<<The contributions you made towards NPA are eligible for tax deductions up to Rs 50,000 under Section 80CCD (1B). Main Thing is that, this is over and above the exemption, you can claim for Rs 1,50,000 under Section 80C.

<<Investors can choose from investment options such as equity, government securities and corporate bonds for NPS so normally NPS Returns can be good compare to normal traditional investment returns
