IT Returns Filing even in case of NIL tax by Employee

Hi ,

Do an employee need to file IT returns mandatorily in case of NIL tax.
If yes, what is the salary bracket.

Kindly clarify.

Somehow missed it :frowning:

Incase of NIL returns still an employee has to file so if Form 16 has been issued.

Every issued Form 16 holds a reason to be filed ITR whether NIL / Actual returns.

It’s always a good practice to file ITR even if it’s NIL.
