I have one queries. Is it mandatory to follow minimum wages by employer? What will happen if minimum wages rate is not followed by the Employer?

For IT company also it it mandatory?

Dear Soma,

Yes, it is mandatory to adhere to the Minimum Wages (Basic + VDA), the recent one is valid till March 2022. All industries will have to follow this. Assuming that you are from Karnataka, I am sharing the file with you, hope this helps.
