Dear Udhay,

Most probably, your question pertains to the rates of minimum wages fixed by the Govt of Tamilnadu under the Minimum Wages Act,1948. If I were correct, more than 100 industries have been brought under the schedule of the MW Act,1948 by the T.N.Govt so far. Thus the rates are industry-specific. There is a book published every year by Ms.C.Sitaraman & Co.,73/77,Royapettah High Road, Chennai- 600014 entitled " Rates OF Minimum Wages by R.S.Sharma ". Its a compendium of the minimum rates of wages for all industries fixed by the State Government. Better you can by the book every year.
