If any employee opted the New Tax regime and is entitled to Gratuity, o shall we allow Gratuity exemption?

Non-government employees receiving gratuity from their employer can claim exemption up to ₹ 2000000 on that gratuity.In the case of government employees, the entire gratuity received by them is exempted from being taxed.
