"No leave policy" in India?

Is it allowed to have “No Leave” as policy in India ? Some US companies have started this model. employees can take leave when ever they want and it will depend on their manager to decide.
There are No assigned leaves so no balance, no carry forward etc.


My company ha Unlimited Leave policy only for Corporate employees. Not for field sales.

As per prevailing employment legislations, organizations in India are supposed to allow employees to avail leave as per rules (For example, Shops and Est Act). Register/returns are also required for reference and verification.
