Is there a rule for what percentage of employees must be female in any Indian private companies? Please share document if available

Just my thoughts and sourced information. There isn’t any law which can mandate private companies in India to hire a certain percentage of women but many companies are now striving to bridge the gender gap. However, India has initiated the inclusion process with new regulations, which mandate at least one independent female director on the board of a listed company. (Source )
Statistics project some encouraging numbers however there is lot to be achieved on the ground. Rate of employability across India from 2017 to 2021, by gender.

I read this today, encouraging trend that might catch up more -Surge in women looking for tech jobs as companies embrace WFH.
