Retirement Age in Companies

Hi Community,

I would like to know what is the retirement age will be in most of companies. 58 years or 60 years.

Kindly share me the details with company name and retirement age.

We are in a process of making retirement age policy so need your suggestions before finalizing the age.

Hi @Arpana

The current retirement age is 60 years in general for private employees.

Especially Karnataka Government has increased the retirement age of employees in all private sectors from 58 years to 60 years of age .

So there are some states who alter this, but in general it’s 60.
