We have discussed about basic salary on this forum. As per the confirmation of this community and news paper article, 50% of the total gross salary will be basic and it will be applicable from 01st October.
So, i would like to request you that, Whoever has government notification for this, share the screen shot of it with the Gadget.

There is no such notification for effective date as 1st October 2021 of New Wages Code implementation. Kindly share the same, if available with anyone.

Hello All, Kindly advise if any notification has been released to this effect? Is April 2022 the start of the new wage code?

Hi Sumit,
As of now, per print media information, the Central Government is under discussion with the leading HR heads of the industry, and not expected to implement by April.
We have to wait and watch on this.
