Shaadi.com’s social initiative wing, Shaadi.org, is focused on empowering women. On this Independence Day, the organization has committed to empowering women by joining hands with Udyan Care, a women-focused NGO.
Through the partnership, Shaadi.org will work towards upskilling up to 10,000 women over the next five years by giving monetary support to the NGO’s Udayan Shalini Fellowship Programme to encourage financial autonomy among the women workforce.
Both organizations have committed to shedding light on the constraints faced by women when it comes to being financially independent and achieving gender equality through education and employment by empowering 10,000 women.
The diverse workforce will be able to pursue several disciplines and vocations allowing the women to carve their own gateway towards becoming financially independent and actively contributing to India’s economy.
