Hi Ramya,

A social security agreement is a bilateral agreement between the countries. This is to ensure that the social security of an employee is protected in the country where he/she is employed.

In India, the social security laws are the EPF Act, ESI Act, Gratuity, Employee Compensation, Maternity benefits, etc.
